Why I Love Photography | Lawrenceburg Indiana Family Photographer
First of all, let me start off by saying I was never one of those people who "always knew I wanted to be a photographer since I could walk." My life has always revolved around creativity and art, but not so much around photography. Then when I was in my late 20's, I literally woke up one morning and told my husband that I need one of those "fancy" cameras. He asked "what the heck for?" (insert chuckle here).
And then I fell in love with the art of photography.
I love photography mostly because it allows me to share the world through my eyes. It has always amazed me that two people can look at the same image and see something totally different. I enjoy capturing moments in time, freezing them forever at a place that is special, and capturing a mood that evokes emotion and feelings.
Photography allows me to create art rooted in reality. It enables me to capture moments that would otherwise just blend into all the other moments that have passed. Instead, we pause them and are able to look back at that moment over time, seeing something new or different in it because while the image hasn’t changed, we have. And that to me, is amazing.
